Hanken & SSE Executive Education, a leading provider of executive education in the Nordic region, has announced the formation of a new board of directors. The new board, comprising members from both Sweden and Finland, was constituted in March. Frank Korsström, former Managing Director at Accenture and a recognised force in the Nordic consulting scene, steps in as the new Chairperson of the Board.
Hanken & SSE Executive Education continues to pursue its vision of fostering growth by being the most inspiring international partner in strategic renewal. Frank Korsström brings with him a strong motivation to use his international and Nordic consulting experience to support Hanken & SSE in expanding its international reach and impact.

Newly appointed board members
Frank Korsström, the new Chairperson of the Board, has an extensive background in various board positions. His career includes significant roles at SIAR Bossard from 1984 to 1996 in Helsinki and Paris, Boston Consulting Group in Stockholm and Helsinki from 1996 to 1998, and Accenture from 1998 to 2020, where he worked as the Nordic Managing Director from 2007 to 2020.
Christina Dahlblom is a new board member. She serves as Associate Dean and Professor of Practice at Hanken School of Economics. She also works as an entrepreneur and leadership coach in her own company, Flo Co Oy. In addition, Christina has held multiple roles as business unit director, CEO, and partner in TNS Gallup, Dahlblom & Spark and Miltton Sparks & Group. Christina is also the former CEO of Hanken & SSE from 2006 to 2011. She has also served on various boards, including private companies, public companies, organisations, and foundations.
Karin Wiström is also a new board member. She brings over 25 years of experience in Executive Education and 10 years of experience in various roles within the FMCG sector, working globally. Currently, she works as a Business Area Director for Degree Programs and Director of the SSE MBA program at SSE Executive Education. Karin focuses on driving internationalisation and is also an SSE alumnus.
Jacob Dalborg is an SSE alumnus and has been a member of the Hanken & SSE board since 2014. He is the former CEO of Bonnier Books and is a versatile board professional.
Kaj Storbacka is an alumnus of Hanken and completed his Ph.D at Hanken School of Economics in 1994. Currently, he serves as the Hanken Foundation Professor at Hanken School of Economics. With over 35 years of experience as a strategy consultant, Kaj has worked with European and global companies across a variety of sectors. He has also been a part of the Hanken & SSE board since the year 2021.
Torbjörn Wingårdh is an alumnus of SSE and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at SSE. He has extensive experience as a CFO in various companies, including five years with a global high-tech corporation headquartered in Sweden, with subsidiaries, agents, distributors, and customers in over 50 countries. His career also includes several leadership positions within corporate finance. Torbjörn has been a member of the Hanken & SSE board since 2023.
As we welcome our new board members, I would like to thank our previous Chairperson of the Board, Johan Sandell, for his valuable decade-long contribution to the development of Hanken & SSE. I would also like to extend my thanks to Staffan Kurten for his strong involvement in strengthening Hanken & SSE, as he also steps down from our board.
