Sustainability
At Hanken & SSE Executive Education, our commitment goes beyond delivering top-tier executive education. We are dedicated to fostering a more sustainable and equitable world by aligning our efforts with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We are strategically aligned with 4. (Quality Education) and 8. (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and we also work with 3. (Good Health and Well-being) and 10. (Reduced Inequalities). These goals are deeply embedded in our core values, driving us to prioritise inclusivity, quality education, and sustainable economic growth.
We recognise that well-being is a fundamental aspect of effective leadership. Our educational offerings emphasise mental health, stress management, and the creation of healthier work environments. The donation to MIELI ry strengthens our commitment to supporting youth well-being and promoting mental health skills.
We believe in the transformative power of education. Our executive education programmes are designed to promote lifelong learning and skill development across all levels, from junior professionals to senior leaders. By offering a wide array of knowledge and education solutions, we ensure that both individuals and organisations can continuously grow and adapt in an ever-changing world. Our profits are returned to our owner schools for research purposes and to continue educating future economic leaders.
Empowering leaders to foster economic growth and create decent work opportunities is at the heart of what we do. Our programmes are meticulously designed to encourage responsible management, ethical leadership, and the building of economically resilient organisations. By promoting these principles, we contribute to sustainable economic growth and the creation of workplaces that are both productive and humane.
We are deeply committed to making executive education accessible to all, regardless of background. Our integration initiative, Business Lead, is a testament to this commitment. Through this programme, we actively contribute to the economic and social inclusion of refugees by providing training, as well as employment opportunities with partner companies.
Our key initiatives
Support for change negotiations
With over 30 years of experience in responsible leadership during periods of change and adaptation, along with career coaching, we offer personalised solutions that adopt a human-centred approach while aligning with the company's values and business objectives. A responsible organisation takes care of both the leaving and remaining personnel in a redundancy situation while also caring for the employer's image and reputation.
Our Way of Working
Hanken Future Challengers
We offer possibilities for Hanken students to act as a resource in our consortium programmes. We introduce the Future Challengers to customer companies and define areas the challengers give input in. Through projects within the Hanken & SSE Future Challenger network students get hands on experience from real company cases. With supervision and coaching on the assignments from the Hanken & SSE team the students strengthen their business understanding and acquire a network of business contacts.
