In addition, it is a unique opportunity to make a difference, it is corporate social responsibility in action. Since the beginning, nearly 270 participants and over 160 companies have enabled the programme. Hanken & SSE Executive Education runs the programme together with Hanken School of Economics. Business Lead won the award for best Talent Development program in Europe by EFMD in 2018.
We had high expectations of the intern and were very happy to see it was easy for the intern to fulfil the job. We recommend other companies to join the programme as it´s a win/win situation; the interns have the possibility to show how good they are and at the same time obtain experience and trust in their own abilities. KIP Service decided to join the Business Lead programme because it was a good way for us to find new people that comes in with fresh ideas. We also wanted to test a new concept where we together with another company in the industry area shared the intern. This concept worked very well for everyone.

We chose to participate because we wanted to offer one of the participants work experience and a chance to get a foothold in the Finnish labour market. We benefited greatly from participating in the programme, the intern was proficient in English and could, for example, produce a manual for us in English and also other translations. The intern was experienced and educated so it was also easy to give assignments. Within the organisation, we were encouraged to speak English and it was refreshing for everyone. It was a positive experience overall for us! We highly recommend other companies to take the chance and take part.
