This year, our Christmas donation will be directed through Team Rynkeby to support work that helps seriously ill children. In addition to the donation, one of our employees will take part in next summer’s charity bike ride from Helsinki to Paris.
This Christmas, we want to support work that helps families through their most challenging moments. Team Rynkeby is a European charity cycling team that raises funds primarily for children’s cancer research. In Finland, donations are directed to the AAMU Childhood Cancer Foundation and Sylva ry.
The AAMU Foundation supports research on paediatric blood and cancer diseases as well as the development of new treatments. Sylva ry, in turn, provides support for children and young people with cancer and their families, and promotes the development of psychosocial care nationwide.
Our donation is complemented by a wonderful example from within our own community: one Hanken & SSE employee will take part in next summer’s Team Rynkeby cycling event.
