Petri Kokko succeeds Professor Kaj Storbacka, who continues his research at Hanken School of Economics
Helsinki, Finland — Hanken & SSE Executive Education, a leading provider of executive education in the Nordic region, is pleased to announce the appointment of Petri Kokko to its Board of Directors. Kokko succeeds Professor Kaj Storbacka, who steps back from the board to focus on his research, having made a significant contribution on the organisation’s growth, strategic direction and international standing.
Petri Kokko brings a remarkable combination of global tech leadership, AI expertise, and board experience. He spent 18 years at Google in a variety of senior roles, most recently as Managing Director of Client Solutions for Central Europe. Prior to Google, he served as Country Manager for Nike in Finland. He currently sits on the boards of Oras and Arbonaut, and serves as Executive in Residence at Hanken School of Economics, where he contributes to the institution’s AI transformation. A Hanken alumnus himself, Kokko is also a two-time Olympian in ice dancing, a testament to the discipline and drive he brings to everything he pursues.
“AI is the biggest change we will see in our lifetimes in education and knowledge work. I’m excited to bring that perspective to Hanken & SSE’s board and help the organisation lead with curiosity and confidence into this new era.”
