Two leading players join forces to accelerate organisational and professional growth
Hanken & SSE Executive Education has today announced the acquisition of HRM partners. The combined offering will help organisations to define and implement strategic capabilities for growth and support individual career paths.
During the year 2020, the companies will continue as separate companies. The current CEO of Hanken & SSE, Marc Hinnenberg, will become the Chairman of the Board of HRM partners. Staffan Kurtén, the co-founder and current Chairman of the Board at HRM Partners, will continue as its board member. Fred Kosk, the second co-founder, will leave the company after 27 successful years as an entrepreneur, and move to the next career phase outside work life. The integration will be led by the current CEO of HRM Partners, Paula Kilpinen, who will also become the Deputy CEO of Hanken & SSE. The joint turnover of the two companies was 6,4 million euros in 2019.
“Joining the forces of these two companies creates a unique value proposition, combining academic insight with practice-oriented implementation for any sustainable business transformation to the benefit of our customers”, states Marc Hinnenberg, CEO of Hanken & SSE Executive Education and continues, “our offering enables us to provide a strong link between strategy, strategic capabilities, and leadership to support our customers in achieving commercial success”.
“Our objective is to reach sustainable impact through insight and practise. Our ambition is to be the best partner for our customers in identifying and developing their strategic capabilities and to perform change and development programs ensuring their impact on both an organisational and personal level”, highlights Paula Kilpinen, CEO of HRM Partners. “Our career coaching and outplacement services enable us to support the career paths of our customers and their employees in a meaningful and sustainable way, also during work life changes."
“This acquisition, implemented in a ‘merger of equals’- spirit, enables a strong combined platform for creating something remarkable for our customers, something where the sum is greater than its parts, paving the way for a world-class company and success story”, envisions Johan Sandell, Chairman of the Board at Hanken & SSE Executive Education.
“Our unrivalled offering will combine the best of both worlds, we are convinced that this will be a great journey together, fuelled by our similar corporate cultures that our customers love and value”, rejoices Staffan Kurtén, Chairman of the Board at HRM Partners.
