Program Overview

The Lead Russia Program is tailored to support increased efficiency and profitability of Finnish and Nordic companies active in Russia.


The Lead Russia Program is aimed at companies who strive to:

Program Content & Structure

Lead Russia is a leadership program for top level managers, executed in a consortium of 5-8 different non-competing companies.


The program consists of 2 live learning modules and 3 virtual learning modules. It is structured over 5 months with three months between live modules.


The language used is Russian with an option of English.

Program Director Peter Zashev

Peter Zashev (Ph.D. Econ) is Program Director at Hanken & SSE Executive Education. Peter is an experienced lecturer and facilitator, specialized in business and economics of Russia and Eastern Europe and on change management.


He has 15 years of experience from teaching pre- and post-graduates as well as MBA students. Peter is fluent in both English and Russian, and a Bulgarian native.

Vsevolod Krylov

Vsevolod Krylov

Vsevolod Krylov works as a Program Director at SSE Russia. He has a degree from Saint Petersburg State University and executive MBA from SSE Russia. Vsevold is specialized in relations management, including knowledge and change management as well as strategy. Vsevolod brings up how internal strengths can turn into weaknesses if not changed or adapted in the right time. His lectures are based on the idea that either internal or external success is impossible without personal involvement and personal stressful change of mind. His previous experience includes positions within marketing and public relations in various companies, national sales manager at Norcool ASA and Frigoglass Eurasia. Vsevolod is a certified facilitator of INTERPLAY simulation and a qualified specialist in UPP-testing (Understanding Personal Potential).

Vladislav Talkach

Vladislav Talkach

Vladislav Talkach is a program director and a business trainer at one of the most prestigious business schools in Belarus – IPM Business School.  His area of expertise is business controlling, finance and business strategy. Vladislav has a Master’s degree from the Controller Akademie in Germany and further qualifications from International Group of Controlling in Switzerland and IFL Entrepreneur at Stockholm School of Economics. He also has considerable practical experience as a financial consultant for Belarusian and international companies such as Kapsch Telematic Services, Volkswagen, Верес, Armtek, AsstrA, BSATrans and so on.

Irina Preis

Irina Preis

Irina Preis holds a PhD in technical sciences from the Tallinn University of Technology. She is a certified training psychologist from the Integrative Institute of Gestalt Training in St. Petersburg, Russia – member of the European Association for Gestalt Therapy. Irina has more than 20 years of experience combining an academic career as an Associate Professor and an individual training and development counselor. Irina’s background allows her to develop and implement a tailor-made approach to each individual based on solid academic knowledge and pedagogical experience. Irina is a Russian native speaker who also speaks English, Estonian and Finnish.
